What We Do

Electrical Services for Every Job, Big or Small.

Eight core service areas, all delivered by the same local crew — so you're not juggling subcontractors when the work needs to get done.

Generac Sales, Install & Service

Generac standby generators for homes, businesses, and farms — sized, installed, and load-tested by a Generac sales and service dealer. We service every Generac unit we install.

What size Generac do I need?

We start by load-checking the panels you want to back up — well pump, furnace, freezers, milking parlor, dryer, whatever's critical. From there we right-size the Generac to the actual load so the unit isn't underbuilt or oversold. Most homes land between 14 kW and 24 kW; ag and commercial sites run larger.

Do you handle the gas hook-up and transfer switch?

Yes. We set the pad, mount the Generac, install the automatic transfer switch, and coordinate the propane or natural gas connection so the install is a single project — not a string of subcontractors.

Home Wiring, Service Calls & Upgrades

Outlets, can and accent lighting, panel and service upgrades, EV chargers, smoke alarms, and whole-home rewires. We make sure your house is safe, up to code, and wired for the way you actually use it.

Do you take small service calls?

Yes. Bad outlet, tripping breaker, switch that's been quirky for years — call us. Most service tickets get scheduled within the week.

Can you install an EV charger or upgrade my panel?

Yes. We install Level 2 EV chargers and upgrade panels from 100A to 200A (or higher) when older homes need more capacity. We pull permits and coordinate the utility for service swaps.

Shops, Offices & Tenant Fit-Outs

Three-phase service, commercial lighting, controls, signs, and tenant build-outs. We schedule around your hours so customers and staff don't lose a day to the wiring crew.

Do you handle three-phase service?

Yes. We pull and terminate three-phase service for shops, manufacturing, and ag-commercial sites — including step-down transformers and motor wiring.

Can you work nights or weekends to avoid downtime?

For service swaps and panel cut-overs that would close your business, we schedule after-hours work. Tell us your hours and we'll build the timeline around them.

Farm, Grain & Livestock Electrical

Grain bins, dryers, hog barns, dairy parlors, shops, and irrigation. We know farm loads, single-to-three-phase conversions, and how to keep production running through service swaps.

Can you wire grain bins and dryers?

Yes — bin sites, leg drives, dryer service, fan motors, and aeration controls. We work around harvest schedules and don't sit on a job through your busy season.

Do you handle single-to-three-phase conversions?

Yes. Rotary phase converters, VFDs, and full utility three-phase installs depending on what makes sense for the equipment. We'll spec out the option that costs the least over the life of the system.

Remodel Wiring & Finish Lighting

Kitchen, basement, and whole-home remodels — from rough-in through finish trim. Hidden LED stair lighting, under-cabinet runs, can lighting, panel relocations, and the rewires that come with opening up an older home.

Do you work from plans or do walk-throughs?

Both. Send us a print set and we'll quote off it; if there are no plans we'll walk the space, map devices with the owner, and quote room by room.

Can you coordinate with my GC and the other trades?

Yes — that's the job. We talk to plumbing and HVAC before rough-in so penetrations don't fight each other, and we hit your schedule milestones so other trades aren't waiting on us.

Finished media room with in-ceiling speakers and zoned lighting wired by MG Electric
06 / Sonos Sound Systems

Whole-Home & Zoned Sonos Installs

Sonos in-ceiling and in-wall speakers, amplifiers, and the speaker wire runs behind them — wired in clean before drywall, or retrofit into a finished space. Zoned audio for kitchens, patios, media rooms, and shops.

Can you wire Sonos into a new build?

Yes — and it's the cleanest time to do it. We map speaker locations with you during rough-in, pull the runs back to a central amp closet, and label everything so the final hookup is straightforward.

Do you retrofit Sonos into an existing home?

Yes. We fish wire through finished walls and ceilings where we can, cut for in-ceiling speakers, and patch what we touch. We'll walk it with you first so you know exactly what gets opened up.

07 / Boom Truck

Pole, Sign & Overhead Work

Sign service, overhead drops, pole-mounted lighting, and high-reach installs. Our boom truck stays on our trucks so you're not paying for a separate lift rental or coordinating an extra crew.

What's the reach on your boom truck?

Plenty for parking lot poles, sign service, overhead drops, and the high-bay installs we see most often. For oversize specialty lifts we'll let you know up front before quoting.

Can you service business signs and lot lights?

Yes. Sign repair, lamp swaps, LED retrofits, and full pole replacements — including the trenching and base work if the pole has to come out.

Underground Conduit & Service Runs

Service feeders, branch runs, and conduit installed underground — for new construction, outbuildings, yard lighting, irrigation, and farm sites. We dig it, run it, and connect it.

Do you do the dig in-house?

Yes. We trench, install conduit and cable, backfill, and make the connection on both ends — no separate dirt-work contractor to schedule.

How far can you run underground service?

From short outbuilding feeds to long farm-site runs. We size the conductor for the distance so voltage drop doesn't bite you a year later.
